Importing Airbnb calendar to Your.Rentals

How do I add my Airbnb calendar to Your.Rentals?

This article is for property managers who also list a property on Airbnb. Guests do not set up calendar syncs.

Importing your Airbnb calendar means that dates booked on Airbnb are blocked in Your.Rentals too. You do it in two stages: first you copy a calendar address from Airbnb, then you add that address in Your.Rentals.

Stage 1: copy the calendar address from Airbnb

  1. Log in to your Airbnb account.
  2. Select the Airbnb listing you want to sync with your Your.Rentals calendar.
  3. Click Calendar in the left-hand menu.
  4. Click Availability settings on the right of the page.
  5. Under Sync Calendars, click Export Calendar.
  6. Copy the calendar address.

Stage 2: add the calendar in Your.Rentals

  1. Go to your Calendars page.
  2. Select the listing you want to sync.
  3. On the right-hand side, find the Calendar Sync section and select Import calendar.
  4. Click Import new calendar.
  5. Choose Airbnb as the calendar source from the dropdown list.
  6. Paste the address you copied from Airbnb into the Calendar URL field.
  7. In Calendar name, enter something you will recognise later. We suggest "Airbnb" followed by the Airbnb listing ID, so you can tell your calendars apart if you add more than one.
  8. Click Save.

If you list this property on more than one channel

Airbnb only shares bookings made on Airbnb. It does not pass on bookings that it imported from another calendar.

That means importing your Airbnb calendar alone is not enough if the property is listed elsewhere as well. Import every channel's calendar into Your.Rentals, and connect the channels to each other too. See our guide to synchronising multiple calendars.

Remember to export as well

Importing only covers one direction. For bookings taken through Your.Rentals to block those dates on Airbnb, you also need to export your Your.Rentals calendar to Airbnb. See Calendar Sync: import and export.
