Verify your email

As a new Property manager, how do I verify my email address so that I can publish my listing?

This article is for property managers who are setting up a Your.Rentals account and listing a property. Guests do not have a Your.Rentals account and do not need to verify an email address this way.

Before you can list your first property, the email address you used to create your account needs to be verified. This is how we make sure we can reach you with important emails, such as notifications about New Bookings and Booking Requests.

There are three ways to verify your email address. Use whichever one matches where you are right now.

Method 1: Straight after you create your account 

When you create your account, we send you an email with the subject Welcome! Please verify your email address.

  1. Open the welcome email and click Activate your account.
  2. Wait for the confirmation page to open.
  3. Your email address is now verified.

Did the email not arrive? Check your spam or junk folder. If it is not there, use Method 2 below to request a new verification email.

Method 2: From the alert bar in app.your.rentals 

If you have not verified your email address yet, you will see an orange alert bar at the top of the screen when you are signed in to app.your.rentals.

  1. In the orange alert bar, click Click here.
  2. We send you a new verification email.
  3. Open the verification email and click Activate your account.
  4. Wait for the confirmation page to open.
  5. Your email address is now verified.

Has the verification link expired? If the link in the email no longer works, go back to app.your.rentals and follow Method 2 again to request a fresh verification email.

Method 3: While you are listing your first property 

If your email address is still not verified when you list your first property, we ask you to verify it before your listing goes live.

  1. After you select your listing type in the List now steps, you will see a screen asking you to Verify your email address.
  2. Click Click here to send a new verification email.
  3. Open the verification email and click Activate your account.
  4. Wait for the confirmation page to open.
  5. Your email address is now verified
