Suggested Description Structure

How should I structure my description text?

Writing a good description for your property can be difficult. There's no specific right or wrong way to write the description, but if you're stuck for ideas we recommend the following structure.

First, provide a general description of the property and a selling point that makes it unique. After having generally described the property and where it is located, provide a more specific description of the property and its rooms including the services (TV, balcony, air conditioning, etc.). Specify whether or not your property is featured with free Wi-Fi. Provide the guest with a statement about the nearest natural and tourist attractions if any. Please specify if the property has a private or public parking, and whether it is for free or not. How can the guest reach your property? Specify the distance of the property to the nearest airport or stations.

Suggested Structure

Paragraph 1:

Set the scene

Is this an apartment, a villa, a house or a cabin? What area of the city/region is it in? What kind of guest is it suitable for? E.g. Couples, families with children, large groups etc.

Paragraph 2:

Rooms

How many rooms will guests have access to? How many beds are in each room and what size are they? What about bathrooms? Living areas? Will they be sharing these with anybody else?

Paragraph 3:

Facilities & Amenities

What facilities will guests have access to? For example, kitchens, laundry services etc. Will they be sharing these with anybody else?
What do you provide? For example, towels, sheets, Wi-Fi

Paragraph 4:

Outside the property

What is there to do nearby? How quiet/lively is the neighbourhood? How easy is it to get around? How close is it to key transport links like airports and train stations?
