How to list on Homes and Villas by Marriott International

To get listed with Homes & Villas by Marriott International (HVMI), you will need to go through an application process since HVMI wants to ensure all the listings in their portfolio matches Marriott standards. 

Here we have collected some of the requirements for listing on Homes & Villas by Marriott International.

Property Managers & Hosts
  • Handle the management, in-stay guest support and cleaning (with some exceptions for various markets and offerings)
  • Responsible for updating calendar availability and pricing 
  • Track record of reliability and customer satisfaction, including response times, compliance with local regulations and other management responsibilities
  • One (1) or more bedrooms (no studios or home shares)
  • A fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, linens, towels and bathroom amenities and other essentials
  • Safety equipment, including smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and fire extinguishers

Connecting to Homes and Villas by Marriott International has a minimum requirement of 20+ properties. Through Your.Rentals, you will be able to get listed even with just 1-2 premium properties.


*Please note that if you are accepted to be listed on Homes and Villas by Marriott International, the cancellation policy(ies) that you have selected in the builder of Your.Rentals will be overridden to match Homes and Villas by Marriott International’s requirements in that particular channel. Your cancellation policy(ies) would become “free cancellation up to 30 days prior to check-in and 48h grace period” on Homes and Villas by Marriott International. This means if guests book your properties more than 30 days before check-in, then the guests can enjoy free cancellation up to 30 days; and if the guests book your properties with less than 30 days before check-in, then the guests can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours after they have confirmed the bookings.”
