Guide: How to Access and Complete Assigned Tasks 

Simplify cleaning schedules, improve workflow efficiency, and ensure properties are spotless before guests arrive.

As a cleaner, you can access this tool to view your assigned tasks, update progress, and stay organized. Here’s how to get started.

How Cleaners Access the Tasks Management Tool

  1. Receiving an Invitation:
    • Once the property owner invites you via email, you’ll receive an automated invitation email from the Your.Rentals system.

  2. Accessing the Collaborator Portal:
    • In the invitation email, click the Accept invitation button to access the Your.Rentals Member Portal.
  3. Creating Your Account:
    • Fill in the required fields: First Name, Last Name, and Language.
    • Set a password. Your email will be pre-filled automatically.
    • After completing the form, click Create Account.

       4.    Logging In:
    • Use your email and password to log in to the collaborator portal.
        5.     Managing Task Invitations:
    • Once logged in, you’ll see your pending task invitations. Click Accept or Decline as appropriate.
    • Access the menu icon to manage tasks and view invitations.


Navigating Your Tasks

In the menu, you’ll find two key sections:

  • Invitations: View any pending invitations that you haven’t yet responded to.

  • My Tasks: See both Upcoming Tasks and Past Tasks.

Viewing Task Details and Updating Progress

In the Upcoming Tasks and Past Tasks sections, you’ll see task cards that provide key information. Click on any task card to view more details or update the task’s status.

Task Details Include:

  • Task Description: A brief description of the cleaning assignment.
  • Due Date & Time: The deadline for completing the task.
  • Task Status: Options include Not Started, Pending, Overdue, and Completed.
  • Booking Details: The number of guests (adult and children) & the check-out time for the booking related to the task.
  • Listing Information: Including address, acreage, number of bedrooms, and bathrooms.

 

Completing and Reopening Tasks

When you’ve finished a task:

  1. Click Complete Task to mark it as done.
  2. If further action is required later, you can click Re-open Task to make additional updates.

Important Note:

  • If the booking dates are changed or the booking is canceled after the task is assigned to you, the Re-open Task button will be disabled.

By following these steps, you’ll be able to manage your task assignments smoothly, stay on top of deadlines, and ensure properties are prepared for the next guest.
