How to start with Guest Registration in Greece
This guide presents a step-by-step process to set up in order to automate the collection of guest data, in compliance with Greek Law 4646/2019, Article 29.
To automate your guest data collection process, you will have to set up a Rule in the Guest check-in page.
Step 1: Navigate to the Guest Check-in page in Your.Rentals.
First go to the Guest menu, and within this menu choose “Check-ins”
Step 2: Choose “Get started"
Step 3: In the popup, select “Greek IAPR”, then select “Continue”
Step 4: Define a rule name
Step 5: Choose the listings that should be assigned to the newly created Rule
In this step you can select all or some of your listings. You can also choose to do this later.
The guest data will be automatically collected for the assigned listings.
Step 6: See the newly created connection to Greek IAPR in the list of your Authority setups.
On this tab, you can also add new connections or delete existing ones.
Step 7: Get an overview of your listings and corresponding properties from your Greek IAPR setup
You can find this overview in the “Assigned listings” tab. If you are missing some setup, you will see it in the “Set-up status” column.
Step 8: Monitor your guest check-in
Navigate to the “Check-ins” tab to monitor your guest check-ins. As you receive new bookings, the Check-in records will automatically be created, and your guests will be informed about the need to check-in 14 and 2 days before the check-in date.
At first, each Check-in record has a status “Open”.
Once you or the guest have filled in the form, the status changes to “Ready”.
Once they have submitted the records to Greek IAPR, you can mark it as Done in our system.
