How do Airbnb Reviews work?
Airbnb Reviews are 1) for guests to write reviews for the hosts; 2) for hosts to write reviews for their guests.
When a guest is reviewing a host on Airbnb, the guest will be asked:
- To give an overall rating (1-5 stars).
- To give specific ratings for Cleanliness, Communication, Check-in, Accuracy, Location, and Value.
- To leave a review.
- To add a private note (only the host can see).
When a host is reviewing a guest on Airbnb, the host will be asked:
- To leave a review.
- To add a private note (only the guest can see).
- To give specific ratings for Cleanliness, Communication, and Observance of house rules.
- To answer if they would host this guest again (it would not be published anywhere).
How can you preview Airbnb Reviews in Your.Rentals?
- Navigate to the Guests menu and choose the Reviews option.
- Now you can see all your reviews and the review status for your listings.
- If you only want to see the Airbnb Reviews, you can select the Airbnb checkbox within the Sales Channels filter.
- You will have the below options:
- If you have not left a review for your guest within the 14-day period, you will see the option to do that.
- If you have left a review for your guest, you will be able to see what you wrote.
- If your guest left a review for you, you will see it, and you will be able to respond to it. We strongly recommend that you respond to the guest’s review within the first 24 hours to increase your response rate.
How to review an Airbnb guest on Your.Rentals?
- Once the Airbnb guests check out, you have 14 days to leave a review for the guests.
- Navigate to the Guests menu and choose the Reviews option.
- Click Sales Channels and choose the Airbnb option.
- You will see how many days are left for submitting your review.
- If you click Write a review for the guest, a new page will open. You can write a review for the guest, save it as a draft or submit a review.
- If you click Save draft, your review will be saved and you will be back on the Guest Review page. Your draft review will look like this.
- If you choose to Submit review, your review will be submitted and sent to Airbnb. When you are back on the Guest Reviews page and you will see a message like this.
- You can also click the Back button on top to go back anytime. Then you will be back on the Guest Reviews page.
