How do I know if I can cancel the reservation with penalty or not?
We understand that sometimes plans change, and you may need to modify or cancel your reservation. Here is the list of cancellation policies and its terms that help you determine if a penalty applies to your cancellation.
I. Cancellation policies and refund term:
1. Free cancellation, 7 days prior to check-in (Free7)
- You can cancel your reservation without penalty if it’s done at least 7 days before the check-in date.
- Cancellation Within 7 Days: Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in result in no refund.
2. Free cancellation, 14 days prior to check-in (Free14)
- You can cancel your reservation without penalty if it’s done at least 14 days before the check-in date.
- Cancellation Within 14 Days: Cancellations made less than 14 days before check-in result in no refund.
3. Free cancellation, 30 days before check-in (Free30)
- You can cancel your reservation without penalty if it’s done at least 30 days before the check-in date.
- Cancellation Within 30 Days: Cancellations made less than 30 days before check-in result in no refund.
4. Super Flexible
50% Refund Anytime: You can cancel your reservation at any point before the check-in day and receive a 50% refund of the booking cost (excluding any non-refundable fees).
5. Flexible
50% Refund if it’s done at least 7 days before the check-in date: You can cancel your reservation if it’s done at least 7 days before the check-in date and receive a 50% refund of the booking cost (excluding any non-refundable fees).
6. Moderate
50% Refund if it’s done at least 14 days before the check-in date: You can cancel your reservation if it’s done at least 14 days before the check-in date and receive a 50% refund of the booking cost (excluding any non-refundable fees).
7. Strict
50% Refund if it’s done at least 30 days before the check-in date: You can cancel your reservation if it’s done at least 30 days before the check-in date and receive a 50% refund of the booking cost (excluding any non-refundable fees).
8. Non-Refundable
No refund available after the booking is confirmed.
II. Changing your Cancellation policy:
If the property manager provides multiple cancellation policy options during the booking process, you have the opportunity to select the one that best fits your needs before finalizing your reservation. However, please note that once your booking is confirmed, you will not be able to modify the cancellation policy associated with it.
III. Am I entitled to a refund?
You are always entitled to a full refund if a booking is cancelled by the property manager.
If a booking cannot be completed for reasons beyond Your.Rentals’ control, for example due to sale by order of the court or due to the Property Manager’s breach of contract or similar, Your.Rentals is entitled to cancel the booking, and the rent which has already been paid by you will be refunded. However, as an alternative and at our own discretion, Your.Rentals is entitled to offer you another, similar holiday home in the same area and at the same price.
If you cancel a booking, you may be entitled to a full or partial refund depending on the cancellation rules of the booking above. Your right to a refund when cancelling your booking may be based upon submitting your cancellation at least a certain number of days before check-in. The check-in time is taken to be the earliest check-in time as specified on your Booking Receipt regardless of whether you have agreed another check-in time with the Property Manager, and the check-in time zone is the timezone of the Property, and not the time zone in which you reside.

IV. How do I receive a refund?
If a booking is cancelled by the property manager or by Your.Rentals, we will begin processing your refund immediately. If you decide to cancel a booking you must follow the correct cancellation procedures in order to receive any refund to which you are entitled. Your refund will be sent to the same payment card that you used to pay for your booking. Refunds are processed within 24 hours of cancellation and may take 5-10 bank days to reach your bank account.
